Workshop for those who just want to whet their appetite and gain some experience with a good "hands on" foundation that will allow them to continue working on their own. The first part of class is spent getting an overview of glass coes, tools, safety and a bit on the annealing process, and then we get right into the demo! I start with basic round and dot beads and trapping an air bubble under a dot of transparent glass, and then students get the first hands on. Then we pull stringers to be used for surface decoration you will be making beads in the first hours and it only gets better from there! Some bead demo’s are: heart bead, bee bead, fish bead etc.
