Drum Building Program

Six weeks on Saturday or Sunday

The course will take the student through an amazing journey of making a drum to playing it. This will be a deeply spiritual experience for the student as well as for me as a teacher. The drum we will make is called an Ashiko. It is a traditional African drum which is lightweight and very versatile. It is the ideal drum for drum circle enthusiasts because of its ease of transport and its great many voices.
